Our City Survey

In 2019, the City of Hamilton launched its second resident satisfaction survey, Our City Survey. This survey builds on the work of the City’s first resident satisfaction survey in 2018, Our Citizen Survey. The survey helped the City better understand the needs and perceptions of Hamiltonians with respect to the performance of municipal services provided to the community, value for tax dollars as well as quality of life and well-being.

The 2019 Our City Survey results will include resident input at both the City and Ward levels. The information collected in 2019 will be the baseline for future iterations of the survey which is anticipated to run every two years. The Survey will help the City monitor the performance of municipal services and identify areas where the City is doing well and where there is room to improve.

The City of Hamilton collects information under authority of section 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Any personal information collected for the Our City Survey will be used for improvement of municipal service delivery. Questions about the collection of this personal information can be emailed to [email protected].
