Elevated Water Storage Facility and Pumping Station for Pressure District 7
The City of Hamilton has initiated the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment or Class EA process to identify the preferred sites for a new Elevated Water Storage Facility (ESWF) and a new Pumping Station at Pressure District (PD) 7 within the Southeast Mountain Area.
The purpose of this EA is to:
- provide water supply for future growth
- address security of supply and water system balancing for this area, which was identified in the Water and Wastewater Master Plan (2006) and the Growth Related Integrated Development Strategy
