Waterdown Trunk Watermain Twinning Class EA
The City of Hamilton has initiated the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment or Class EA process to construct the twinning trunk watermain for more reliable water services in Waterdown community. The need for watermain twinning at downstream of Pumping Station (PS) #16 was identified in the City’s Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Infrastructure Review due to the criticality of the single trunk main to supply water to Waterdown community.
The purpose of this Class EA study is to determine the preferred alternative to construct the trunk watermain twinning within the study area.
Study status: Active
Classification: Schedule B. Phases 1 and 2 will be completed for this specific study in order to complete Schedule B requirements by evaluating the project impacts on technical, natural, cultural, economic and social environments.
