The next phase of Zoning By-law No. 05-200 is focused on the Rural Zones. The purpose of the new Rural Zones will be to implement the policies of the Rural Hamilton Official Plan and to create consistent zoning throughout the Rural area.

Rural Zone Mapping - March 2015
Step 1: Reference the zoning grid (PDF, 363 KB) to find out which map your property is on. The grid is broken down into 228 maps or squares. Each square represents a proposed zoning map for a certain geographic area.
Step 2: Once you have located the map number that contains your property of interest, select the range or set of maps that contains your number. This map will show the properties and the proposed zones on your property as well as surrounding properties.
