Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donations

The City of Hamilton is currently accepting donations for the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Personal Protective Equipment required

  • N95 Masks
  • Surgical Masks
  • Procedural Masks
  • Impervious gowns
  • Eye protection (goggles or face shields)
  • Swabs
  • Protective gloves (all sizes) nitrile or vinyl
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Powered Air Purifying Respirators
  • For other PPE, please inquire

Criteria for acceptance of products

  • Preference is for sealed, unopened products.
  • Opened boxes of masks will be accepted.
  • Homemade PPE cannot be accepted at this time.

How to donate

We are working to ensure donations that we accept meet national standards for PPE use in a health care setting.

You will need to provide:

  • Product description
  • Product code
  • Identify if the boxes are open or sealed
  • Contact name, email and phone number

Distribution of donated supplies

We want to ensure front line workers have PPE supplies to deal with increased demand. We are working with partners to provide to those most in need, considering projected shortages, risk of various settings, and current provincial guidelines for PPE usage.
