HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Urban Indigenous Strategy and Battlefield House Museum & Park in partnership with the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre invite the public to attend the first annual Spring Equinox Gathering on Sat., March 21, 2020 from 11 to 2 pm at Battlefield Park, 77 King St. W., Stoney Creek.
HAMILTON, ON – Battlefield House Museum & Park is actively recruiting volunteers, aged 13 and older, to assist with the Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek on June 1 and 2. Training, orientation and appropriate clothing will be provided. High School students will earn credit toward their volunteer hours required to receive their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

In celebration of Sara Calder’s birthday on Sunday, August 19, Battlefield House Museum is offering free admission to the Museum from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and launching the new Women’s Wentworth Historical Society exhibit at 2 pm.
Hamilton, ON - The 37th annual Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek returns to Battlefield House Museum & Park National Historic Site on Saturday, June 2 from 10 am to 10 pm and Sunday, June 3 from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Admission is FREE in honour of Sara Calder, founder of Battlefield House Museum.
The Battle of Stoney Creek, considered a turning point in the War of 1812, will be re-enacted Saturday at 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm and on Sunday at 2 pm Weather permitting, fireworks will follow the Saturday evening re-enactment.
