Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train Concert returns to Gage Park in support of Hamilton Food Share

HAMILTON, ON - Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train is back for its 21st year to raise money, food and awareness for local food banks. The train will arrive in Hamilton at 7:45 pm. on Thursday, November 28 along Lawrence Rd. just south of Gage Park. Alan Doyle, (formerly of Great Big Sea) will headline the show with the Beautiful Band and we expect Santa to be on the train.

Christmas in Gore Park 2018

Hamilton, ON – Presented by The City of Hamilton and The Downtown Hamilton BIA in partnership with CHML/Y108/95.3 FRESH RADIO, the annual Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting and Concert will kick-start Christmas in Gore Park on Friday, December 7 from 5 to 7 pm. Cash donations and unwrapped toys for the CHML/Y108/95.3 Fresh Radio Children’s Fund will be gratefully accepted during the event.

City begins the search for this year’s centrepiece Christmas trees

HAMILTON, ON –The City of Hamilton is starting the hunt for trees to be part of the centrepieces for the holiday celebrations this upcoming Christmas season. The City is asking residents to consider donating the perfect tree, which must be at least 40 feet (12 metres) tall, in the front yard, accessible from the street and clear of overhead wires. The trees will be cut and transported at no cost to the owners.
