Pier 4 beach closed due to toxic blue-green algae

Toxic blue-green algae has been confirmed at Pier 4 Beach in Hamilton Harbour.  Do not come into contact with the water. City of Hamilton conducting clean up along parts of the Hamilton Harbour shoreline.

Free parking during the holiday season encourages shoppers to “Spend it Here”

HAMILTON, ON – In partnership with Hamilton’s Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) the City of Hamilton is pleased to offer free parking in various areas across the city to encourage holiday shoppers to spend it here. Free parking will be available on-street and in municipal carparks beginning November 24 until December 31. Participating parking areas will be labeled with a free parking message inside the on-street parking meter caps or on parking meter bags.

Festive events, official tree lighting ceremony and parking perks during the holiday season

HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton has organized a number of festive events and special parking arrangements to mark the 2017 holiday season. Community Christmas Trees This week, the City of Hamilton will complete the installation of the final of three community Christmas trees that will be on display for residents to enjoy throughout the 2017 holiday season. The trees are located in Gore Park, Hamilton City Hall and Memorial Square in Dundas.
