HAMILTON, ON – The Medical Officer of Health for the City of Hamilton is issuing a Cold Weather Alert effective tonight.  A Cold Weather Alert is issued when current or anticipated weather conditions are at or below -15 degrees Celsius or - 20 degrees Celsius with wind chill. This alert will remain in effect until a cancellation notice is issued

HAMILTON, ON - The City of Hamilton has implemented a new Leak Protection Program to cover excess costs resulting from unexpected water leaks in the home. The new program will cover qualifying leaks up to $2,500 once every 24 months for residential customers who may incur any unexpected expense on their water bill that leaky pipes can cause. All residents are automatically covered by the program which is administered by ServLine.
