HAMILTON, ON – May 4, 2016 – The City of Hamilton has developed Draft Commercial/Mixed Use and LRT Zones and invites the public to attend upcoming open houses for Wards 1 to 4. Additional public consultation for the remaining Wards will take place in the fall of 2016.
The Draft Zones have been developed to implement the Urban Hamilton Official Plan. The public will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of the draft zones and provide comments to City staff.

Hamilton, ON – November 18, 2015 - The City Council appointed Citizens’ Jury on Transit will meet on November 25, 6:30 pm at Mohawk College in Room i109 for a presentation and discussion on the topic “LRT: How it Changes Cities”. The public is invited to attend this free event. This is the first of three meetings that the public is invited to attend. Presenters include transit experts from Calgary and Pittsburgh who will speak about their experience with Light Rail Transit. The next public meetings will be held on December 2 at 6:30 pm and December 12 at 9:30 am.
