HAMILTON, ON -This morning, His Worship, Mayor Fred Eisenberger, and Ward 1 Councillor Maureen Wilson welcomed members of the Locke Street BIA and City staff to formally re-open Locke Street after long-term reconstruction closed the road for several months.
HAMILTON, ON – Tomorrow, members of the media are invited to attend a brief ceremony and ribbon cutting to celebrate the re-opening of Locke St.
His worship, Mayor Fred Eisenberger, and Ward 1 Councillor Maureen Wilson will welcome members of the Locke St BIA and City staff to formally re-open the road after long-term reconstruction closed the road for several months.
A brief walking tour of the newly reconstructed street will follow the ribbon cutting.
HAMILTON, ON – Later today, the City of Hamilton will re-open Locke St to two-way traffic as the major reconstruction along the street begins to wrap up.
Beginning early this evening, the City will re-open Locke St and Charlton Ave. Surrounding streets with temporary closures will be re-opened over the coming days. Crews will continue working in the area over the next few weeks to complete the final touches, but roads will be open for travel.
