HAMILTON, ON – The Mayor’s Task Force on Economic Recovery has reported back in record time and now the implementation phase has already begun with six motions approved by General Issues Committee which will go to Council for consideration at its December 16 meeting.

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton’s economy has been recognized as the most diversified in Canada. That is a strength that will help us as we advance into the recovery phase of the pandemic.
The Conference Board of Canada tells us that Hamilton is poised to rebound in a big way once we get past the economic retraction we are now experiencing. Following a retraction of 3.2 per cent in real GDP this year, Hamilton’s economy will rebound next year with projected growth of 6.0 per cent, the Conference Board says.
