HAMILTON, ON – Earlier today, the City of Hamilton began construction at John Rebecca Park in downtown Hamilton. The park will contain a fountain and spray pad, sitting areas, lawn space, tree planting, and accessible walkways.
Located in the heart of the Beasley neighbourhood, the park is bound by John St N, Rebecca St, Catharine St N, and King William St.
The park construction is anticipated to continue through the summer, with completion this fall.

Residents are invited to attend the open house and provide feedback on the proposed designs for the park.
HAMILTON, ON - May 23, 2017 - Tomorrow, Councillor Judi Partridge and members of the Agro family will attend a special ground breaking ceremony to mark the construction of Agro Park, a new five-acre recreation space in Waterdown.
Once finished in mid-summer 2017, the park will be home to a creative play structure, sun shelter, multi-use court, new trees, open green spaces and walkways, it will also include a space for a future outdoor ice rink.
