HAMILTON, ON - This year’s theme for Fire Prevention Week (October 7 to 13) is “LOOK. LISTEN. LEARN. Be aware. Fire can happen anywhere.”   Throughout the week, important safety information will be shared, including the importance of having a working smoke alarm and what residents can do to stay safe in their homes. Special focus will be on unattended cooking and careless smoking as the top two causes of residential fires in 2017.

HAMILTON, ON - September 15, 2017 - The City of Hamilton invites media to attend the 40th anniversary Open House celebration for the Macassa Lodge Adult Day program on Tuesday, September 19. Macassa Lodge’s Adult Day Program is a daily community support service for seniors in Hamilton that also offers information, support and respite time for caregivers.
