HAMILTON, ON – City of Hamilton crews are continuing to respond and clean up after the winter weather in recent days. Severe conditions caused damage in several areas of the city, and staff are working hard to make repairs at this time. As of this afternoon, winter roads crews are still working to clear ice and snow from residential streets, city-owned sidewalks, school sidewalks and bus stops. Current closures and impacts from the severe weather include:

HAMILTON, ON - All City of Hamilton administrative offices will be closed on Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2 and will re-open on Tuesday, April 3. HAMILTON, ON – Residents in Hamilton may continue to experience delays in recycling collection this week due to ongoing challenges experienced by the City’s contracted service provider. Any residents with recycling that has not been picked up as scheduled should keep their blue boxes at the curb. At this time, some recycling collection crews are approximately one day behind schedule. Residents with recycling that hasn’t been picked up after two or more days should contact 905-546-2489. There are currently no delays to waste or green cart collection.
