HAMILTON, ON – Beginning tomorrow, the Queen St S two-way conversion project between Main St W and Aberdeen Ave will officially be complete, allowing motorists to travel both northbound and southbound on Queen St S.
Queen St S was previously a one-way southbound street between Main St W and Herkimer St and a two-way street south of Herkimer St.
Construction on Queen St S began in June and has included:
HAMILTON, ON – Beginning on Monday, June 8, the City of Hamilton will start Stage One of the reconstruction work on Queen Street South. Stage One will continue throughout the summer months and will wrap up by the end of July, 2020.

HAMILTON, ON – On June 8, 2020 the City of Hamilton will begin construction on the two-way conversion project for Queen Street South between Aberdeen Avenue and King Street West.
The project involves eight intersection improvements including new installation or upgrade of traffic signals, roadway restoration, curb and sidewalk reconstruction and pavement markings. A brief summary of the work includes:
