Recreation Facilities, Products and Services Profile

This service provides all activities and support services associated with existing City of Hamilton recreation facilities including programming, rentals, maintenance and inclusion services.  This service includes:

  • Provision of recreational space including allocation, permitting and collection of fees for sport user groups, individuals and families.  Facilities include arenas, pools, community centres, golf courses, sports fields and senior centres
  • Provision of recreation programs (both registered, drop-in and inclusive programming) for the general public including aquatics, fitness and general interest, skating and seasonal camps
  • Food services - concessions, vending, catering and cafeteria service (for seniors)
  • Maintenance and operation of all facilities that host the recreation services
