The City of Hamilton's Performance Excellence team has worked with staff to update service profiles for all of the services that we deliver to citizens. Service information includes a detailed profile of every public facing and internal service delivered by the City including:

  • Service Level Source
  • Performance measures
  • Service and performance trends (in development)
  • Continuous improvement action plans (in development)
  • Citizen feedback action items (in development)

These profiles provide an overview of the services the City provides. The performance section is intended to be used to identify and evaluate new opportunities for service delivery improvements, expense reduction, revenue enhancement, operational efficiency and value for money.

This work is also aligned with the new Multi-Year Budget process, so that our budget reflects our strategic plan and priorities, and is measurable.

Boards, Agencies, Enterprises and Contractors


In Hamilton, there are several boards, agencies, enterprises and contractors that are funded or owned (both partially and fully) by the City of Hamilton. The level of funding and ownership varies across the organizations. These organizations include:
