Cemetery locations

The City is responsible for the ownership and maintenance of 68 sites, varying in size from large municipal cemeteries to small family burial plots.

Many cemeteries now under the care of the City receive protection as a result of the Ontario Cemeteries Act which mandates a municipality to assume responsibility for any burial site that is not being maintained or is abandoned.
