Residential Taxes
Our average residential tax increases remain one of the lowest in Ontario, with a five year average increase of only 1.5%. The 2013 increase of 1.9% was the second lowest in the province – lower than Toronto, Halton, Ottawa and Waterloo Region.
The City of Hamilton over the past four years has had the lowest tax increase in the Golden Horseshoe and the third lowest in the province of Ontario.
