Club memberships & programs

Club Card membership fees vary per club, please contact your local senior club for specific information. All of the programs have a nominal daily admission fee.

Seniors must have a Club Card (prices vary depending on location) to participate in programs at the Senior Clubs listed below. All of the programs have a normal daily admission fee which must be paid prior to participating. For details on programs, and specific program fees, please contact the club directly for Senior Club programs.

  • Club 60 Seniors host a variety of social events throughout the year such as Summerfest and the Volunteer Appreciation luncheon.
  • Each group activity also hosts regular individual socials for their members.

To participate in any senior program, you must be a paid member of the Stoney Creek Club 60 Seniors. Membership fee is $6 per year.

Tai-Chi is a registered program for students with knowledge of the 108 moves. Instructors are from the Canadian Tai Chi Academy.

  • Each card group has luncheon socials throughout the year and the club has social functions such as Christmas Dinner at a very reasonable fee.
  • The club hosts a number of bid euchre tournaments throughout the year and has a large library that is available to members.
  • The club is involved with the community by sponsoring hockey, baseball and interval house.
  • If you are interested in volunteering, the club has opportunities for you to get involved on the executive board.
  • The 2016 Club President is Joan England.

Membership Information
To participate in any senior program, you must be a paid member of the Rosedale Seniors Club. Membership fee is $6 per year.
Optional share the wealth of a $1 for the games and the bid euchre has an optional $0.25 moonshot pot.

  • A $40 pass can be purchased four times yearly and allows you to participate in any of the programs offered by the club.

Program Description: General Exercise Program
A well rounded program combined with low impact aerobics, strength, balance and flexibility training. Is is designed to promote cardio fitness, help prevent falls, maintain strength and promote sociability.

Program Description: Chair Stretch Exercise Program
Chair stretch increases flexibility by stretching all muscle groups, improves posture and breathing. This class promotes attentiveness, mindfulness and relaxation.

  • The evening bid euchre program is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help run the program. Without the volunteer assistance, this program will not run in the fall/winter, so please call the club if interested.

Program Description: Zumba® Gold
A lower impact aerobic workout for active seniors 55+. A Latin inspired dance fitness using Latin and International music and rhythms including Salsa, Cha-Cha, Mambo, Meringue, Cumbia, Reggaeton and much more. Come join us and have some fun. Ditch the Workout JOIN THE PARTY!

Program Description: Line Dancing
Line Dancing is choreographed dances with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines. A partner is not needed and variety of music is used during each class. Excellent physical and mental exercise in a fun and social atmosphere.

Program Description: Tai Chi
This class consists of slow graceful movements which relax and strengthen both body and mind.

Program Description: Art Class
Open watercolour class for beginners to advanced. Class runs on Thursdays from 9 am to 12 noon starting the second week in September and running until the second week in June. Cost is $6.25 per week. Candidates are to bring their own paint and supplies.

Program Description: Computer/Tablet Classes
The course is geared for the beginner/ intermediate candidate who will learn the basic use of the computer/ tablet through interactive question/ answer sessions with the instructor. The course dates/ times vary, so please contact the club to find out availability and when the next course starts.
