Southam Park
The City of Hamilton has identified Southam Park to be in need of upgrades, especially as work is underway on the adjacent Claremont Access project that will include the Keddy Access multi-use trail. Public consultation will be an integral component of the Southam Park Master Plan process.
Proposed Timeline
- Summer 2020 - Site investigation and analysis; online survey
- Fall 2020 - Online public survey
- Winter 2020 - 2021 - Conceptual design development
- Spring 2020 - Final public consultation; Master Plan Report

Public Enagagement Survey

An online survey has been launched on Engage Hamilton, the City of Hamilton's new virtual public engagement platform. Please visit engage.hamilton.ca/southampark to learn more about the master plan and to provide your input. The results from the survey will be used to guide the development of conceptual design options that will be posted for public review and feedback in 2021.
