Water Drinking Fountains

COVID-19 safety measures

  • Don’t use drinking fountains with or without bottle filling stations if you are sick or showing signs of being sick.
  • Use alcohol-based sanitizer before use. Wash your hands with soap and warm water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer after use.
  • If possible, use refillable bottles or cups instead of drinking directly from the fountain.

FOUNTAINS ARE CLEANED ONCE DAILY

The City has both water bottle filling stations and drinking fountains throughout Hamilton.

Welcome to the City of Hamilton’s Drinking Fountain Finder

This interactive map allows you to search for outdoor fountains by location, or filter by fountain type (drinking fountain equipped with bottle filler or traditional drinking fountain). This information is up-to-date and allows residents to find an outdoor drinking fountain closest to them.

Drinking fountains are open seasonally between May and October.

To report a broken water fountain, please contact the City’s Customer Contact Centre at 905-546-2489.
