The City of Hamilton’s Recreation division updated their registration system with a fresh new look, with added features to make it easier to search, navigate and register for recreation programs. With this upgrade the Recreation Division is supporting the City of Hamilton’s strategy of providing high quality, digital customer service delivery options, by providing convenient online self-service functionality.

Confirming your email address
You can confirm whether you have an existing account by entering your email address on the account log-in screen and select "reset password". If your email address is in the system, you will receive an email prompting you to click to reset your password and activate your account.

If you do not see a confirmation message after clicking “reset password”, that means we either do not have your email address on file or it is not linked to your account.

Visit your local recreation centre, email or call 905 546 3747 to request an email be added or updated on your account.

I didn’t get an email when I tried to reset my password. What should I do?
Email or call 905-546-3747 to have your password resetfor you manually. 

Why do I get a duplicate account warning when creating a new account?
It is likely that you already have an account in our system. If you have registered for a program at a Hamilton recreation centre in the past, we already have your account information on file. Please email or call 905-546-3747 to update your account with an email address, and we will provide you with a password which will allow you to login online.

Where can I access my historic registrations and accounting information?
Unfortunately historic accounting information is no longer accessible online due to our change in software. Don't worry, we still have it and you may email or call 905-546-3747 with any inquiries you may have.

How do I withdraw or cancel a program I have registered for?
Contact your local recreation centre, the main recreation line at 905-546-3747 or email with your request. Current refund and cancellation policies are available at:

Where can I find the Recreation Assistant Program Subsidy - amount to apply to programs?
Eligible Recreation Assistant Program clients can see the available amount if any, after Wednesday, December 6th 2017.  Any available amount can be applied to programs when the Winter Registration begins.

How do the course search filters work?
If you are entering the course search engine from a Recreation Centre page, the programs are pre-filtered to the ones offered at that centre‎. You can clear all pre-existing filters by clicking on "Reset Form" on the course search page.  

  • If you want to create your own custom filter the click on the green "filters" button to set your own search criteria. 
  • You can also search using the course barcode found in our Winter Recreation Guide. Locate the course you are looking for in the guide and enter the barcode in field labeled "course barcode".

I am unable to see or select the location filters.
For best results, set your internet browser to Google Chrome. This will allow all filter options to display correctly.

I am unable to click the “Proceed to Payment” button after selecting my course.
Prior to proceeding to payment, make sure to click to accept the Terms and Conditions above the “Proceed to Payment” button.
