Public Health Inspections

Public health inspectors check a variety of businesses in Hamilton to ensure they are meeting public health requirements. These businesses include:

  • Food premises
  • Public pools and spas
  • Personal service settings
  • Tanning facilities
  • Child care centres
  • Recreational camps
  • Tobacco and e-cigarette retailers

Our inspectors also check small drinking water systems and beach water quality, and investigate suspected infection prevention and control lapses.
