There are two mentoring programs available to help you with starting or operating your business.

Access to Professionals series

If you are looking for business legal, accounting, banking, insurance or marketing advice the Access to Professionals series gives you access to a lawyer, financial, insurance, accountant or a marketing professional for a 45 minute one-on-one meeting.

The Access to Professionals series is presented in partnership with SimsponWigle Law, TD CanadaTrust, Co-operators and Kitestring.

Small Business Advisory Group

The Small Business Advisory Group is a not-for-profit organization that helps businesses and entrepreneurs overcome obstacles, explore opportunities and achieve business goals. This group of business experts volunteer their time to provide solid advice tailored to each client. There is a $150 fee to cover administration expenses.

The group works with both start-up and active businesses to:

  • Achieve higher profits
  • Increase sales
  • Improve cash flow and financing
  • Expand product, services and markets
  • Create business, marketing and succession plans
  • Improve management control and reporting
