Temporary Regulation Request

Instructions: Temporary No Parking signs, No Stopping signs, or parking meter bags, must be erected, at minimum, 12 hours in advance before enforcement can commence. Once signs or bags are installed, please complete the following information below which allows Parking By-Law Officers to enforce the temporary regulation change.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the No Parking signs, No Stopping signs or parking meter bags are in place during the duration specified above.  These items must be removed by the applicant upon completion.

Notice of Collection: The City of Hamilton collects information under authority of section 227 of the Municipal Act, 2001. Any personal information collected for the Temporary Regulation Change Request Form will be used to notify Parking By-Law Enforcement Services of the erection of No Parking signs or meter bags. Information collected for this initiative will be stored on servers located in Canada and the United States, and may be subject to Canadian and/or American laws. Questions about the collection of this personal information should be directed to James Buffett, Manager of Parking Enforcement and School Safety, 80 Main Street West, Hamilton, ON, L8P 1H6, 905-540-6000.
