Review of the Revitalizing Hamilton’s Commercial Districts CIP Public Information Session
The City of Hamilton's Economic Development Division is undertaking a review of the existing Revitalizing Hamilton's Commercial Districts Community Improvement Plan (CIP). This CIP provides support to the revitalization of strategic urban commercial districts by minimizing financial barriers and stimulating new private sector investment in the development of under-utilized properties and/or improving the appearance, functionality, marketability, usability and/or safety of existing buildings.
The Virtual Public Consultation Meeting is open to stakeholders and the general public to learn more about review, discuss areas of focus for potential program changes and new programs, and share ideas and suggestions for program improvements.
Date: Thursday, November 27
Time: 5 to 7pm
The meeting will include a staff presentation providing an overview of the review with subsequent breakout “table” sessions led by a facilitator asking questions and recording participant ideas and feedback.
