Birch Transit Centre now open
The new facility includes:
- storage for 200 buses, with the capacity to add additional 100 spaces
- maintenance garage
- additional administrative space & parking
Construction of the Birch Transit Centre began in 2023 and was completed in 2026.

The Birch Transit Centre provides additional space to store and maintain buses, helping keep them in good condition and ready for service each day. The facility supports transit operations behind the scenes and plays an important role in keeping buses on the road for residents.
