Schedule and bus stop changes on several routes came into effect on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
Bus Stop Changes
Effective December 29, 2024, these bus stop changes will be in effect.
Route 1A King Parkdale
Route 1A will be moving from Osler Drive to Main Street West continuing to Wilson Street East for both westbound and eastbound connecting to the West Hamilton Loop on weekdays only.

Stoney Creek Industrial Area
Services lower Hamilton east - west from Hamilton GO in the west to Eastgate Square in the east. The KING 1A route also services West Hamilton Loop to Hamilton GO on weekdays only.
As a result of tower crane dismantling on James St – Main St to Hunter St, various routes will be on detour from Friday, February 21, at 7:00 PM to Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Detour details and a detour map, can be found below.

- Eastbound from Hamilton GO – No Detour required.
- Westbound to Hamilton GO – From James Street & Main Street, Left on Main Street, Right on John Street, Right on Hunter Street, Left on James Street and resume regular routing to Hamilton GO Terminal.
Route 3 Cannon
- Eastbound from Downtown – No Detour required.
- Westbound to Downtown – From James Street & Main Street, Left on Main Street, Right on John Street, Right on Hunter Street, Left on James Street and resume regular routing to Hamilton GO Terminal.
Route 4 Bayfront
- Eastbound from Downtown – From James Street & Main Street, Left on Main Street, Right on John Street, Right on Hunter Street and resume regular eastbound routing on Hunter Street west of James Street.
- Westbound to Downtown – No detour required.
Route 6 Aberdeen
- Eastbound to Downtown – No detour required.
- Westbound from Downtown – From James Street & Main Street, Left on Main Street, Right on John Street, Right on Hunter Street, Left on James Street and resume regular routing on James Street south of Hunter Street.
Routes 7 Locke & 8 York
- Westbound from Downtown – From James Street & Main Street, Left on Main Street, Right on John Street, Right on Hunter Street and resume regular eastbound routing on Hunter Street west of James Street.
- Eastbound to Downtown – No detour required.
Route 20 A-Line
- Northbound to Pier 8 – From James Street and The entrance to the Hamilton GO Station, Right into the Hamilton GO Station, Left on John Street, Left on Rebecca Street, Right on James Street and resume regular northbound routing on James Street north of Rebecca Street.
- Southbound to John C. Munro Airport – From James Street & Main Street, Left on Main Street, Right on John Street, Right on Hunter Street, Left on James Street and resume regular routing on James Street south of Hunter Street.

An east - west route that stretches from downtown Hamilton in the west to Stoney Creek in the east. Stoney Creek Trans-Cab Service operates Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays as an extension of Route 2 when in service.
