City Council meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The meeting calendar gives information on when the various Committees are meeting, a link to the agenda or if a meeting has been cancelled.
Committees and Council deal with a variety of issues including personnel matters, property purchases, litigation, etc. and may wish to discuss matters related to these types of issues in "closed" meetings, in which case the media and members of the public would be asked to leave the meeting room.
Committees and Council will if they are in a “closed” meeting for more than 30 minutes, wait up to 5 minutes before proceeding with the meeting, to provide members of the public and the media time, to return to the meeting room.
The City makes a video record of Committee and Council meetings. If you make a presentation to a Committee, the City will be video recording you and will make the recording public by publishing the recording on the City's website.
