Official Plans of Former Municipalities
The current Urban Hamilton Official Plan and Rural Hamilton Official Plan replaces the Region of Hamilton-Wentworth Official Plan and six Official Plans representing the former municipalities in the former Region.
Former Official Plans in Effect for the West Harbour Secondary Plan Area
The Official Plan for the former Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth was adopted on January 5, 1995. Applicable policies within the Former Regional Official Plan remain in effect for lands within the West Harbour Secondary Plan area only.
The Official Plan for the City of Hamilton was adopted by Hamilton City council, and approved by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on June 1, 1982. Applicable policies within the Former Regional Official Plan remain in effect for lands within the West Harbour Secondary Plan area only.
