Lynden (FDL1R) Well Upgrades and Other Minor Upgrades to the Lynden (HD05B) Treatment Station
Starting June 2026, the Hamilton Water Division will begin work at the Lynden Municipal Well (FDL1R) and Lynden Treatment Station (HD05B). The goal of this project is to complete the permanent connection between the new municipal well, constructed in 2020, and the existing treatment station. This work will provide a backup system to ensure uninterrupted service to the community. This project will also include site finishing and the installation of safety fencing.
The City of Hamilton, Hamilton Water Division, Capital Delivery Section, in collaboration with R.J. Burnside & Associates Ltd (Consulting Engineer) has awarded H2Ontario Inc. the contract to carry out the work. There will be no impact on the safe and continuous water supply to homes and businesses during this work.
