Description of Proposal
Address: The Elfrida Secondary Plan area is bounded by Mud Street and a hydro corridor to the north, Second Road East and Hendershot Road to the east, Upper Centennial Parkway and Trinity Church Road to the west, and Golf Club Road to the south. The hydro corridor bisects the subject lands, running east\west, between Rymal Road and Golf Club Road.
Application Status: The City of Hamilton deemed the application complete on May 13, 2026.
Upcoming Open Houses
The City of Hamilton’s Planning and Economic Development Department is hosting two open houses to provide residents with an opportunity to learn about and comment on this privately-initiated proposal to establish a Secondary Plan on lands currently outside the Hamilton’s Urban Boundary in the Elfrida Area.

How to Provide Public Feedback
Residents can share their questions and feedback on the Elfrida Secondary Plan application prior to the August 25, 2026 meeting. The comments will be included in the City’s Planning Division Recommendation Report. Residents are invited to contact the City's Urban Boundary Expansion team at [email protected] with any questions regarding this file.
