Encampment Fire Safety
Open fires are dangerous
Open fires inside or outside tents/shelters are not allowed and are dangerous. Tents, sleeping bags, wooden structures, garbage and clutter can easily catch fire.

Contacting Fire Prevention
Hamilton Fire Department staff are available to provide educational presentations and station tours. We also offer several fire safety programs to keep you and your family safe.
Fire prevention starts with you
Precautions that you can take to help prevent fire in your home. Discuss these with members of your household and remember fires are easier to prevent then fight.
