Nominations are now open for the City of Hamilton Ward 8 By-Election.
This election will fill the vacant Ward 8 City Councillor seat, providing an important opportunity for residents to have a voice in shaping municipal priorities and addressing the community's needs. Eligible candidates interested in filing their nomination to run for this office, are asked to book an appointment by calling 905-546-2424 ext.4408 or by emailing [email protected].
Nominations are currently being accepted by appointment at the Office of the City Clerk, 71 Main St W, Hamilton 1st Floor during regular business hours.
Individuals, Corporations, or Trade Unions interested in filing to conduct Third Party Advertising are asked to book an appointment by calling 905-546-2424 ext.4408 or by emailing [email protected].
All nominations must be filed by 2 pm on Friday August 8, 2025. Nomination packages may be picked up at the Office of the City Clerk, or by printing the attachment below.
