Victoria Day Fireworks
The Victoria Day Fireworks are back! Join us for a free, family friendly event at Dundas Driving Park! A Dundas tradition since the late 1800s continues this year—bigger and better than ever.
The Dundas Lions Club is proud to host, alongside the Dundas Sunrise Rotary Club and the City of Hamilton, bringing an afternoon and evening packed with family-friendly fun.
Sunday May 17, 2026 - Fireworks launch at approximately 9:30 pm
Location: Dundas Driving Park - 71 Cross Street, Dundas ON – Main entrance is at Cross Street
Admission: FREE! We encourage donations at the gate to support the Dundas Lions Club and its various community initiatives.
Programming from 2pm to dark:
- Kids Zone with bouncy castles, slides, and obstacle courses
- Live music and entertainment
- 15+ food trucks and vendors
- Community atmosphere all afternoon
Parking:
- Due to limited onsite parking, visitors are encouraged to park at one of the FREE Dundas Municipal Parking Lots and walk to the Dundas Driving Park.www.hamilton.ca/parking
- No vehicular traffic will be allowed in the park as of 7 am
- No entry from Helen Street.
Restrictions: Personal fireworks, sparklers, drones, and pets are not permitted in the park.
Getting there by transit
HSR is providing extra service to help you get to and from the Dundas Victoria Day Fireworks on Sunday May 17, 2026.
Route 5 Delaware
- All westbound stops from King and James to Head Street will be serviced prior to the event.
- All eastbound stops from Head Street to Main and MacNab will be serviced after the event.
- Should the event be rained out, a rain date is set for Monday May 18, 2026.
