In 2018, CityHousing Hamilton acquired the previous parking lot from the City to help increase affordable housing in the City. Through the feasibility study completed, it was determined that 10 net new units would be created through the 55-unit building, with 45 units being replaced from Jamesville. The building consists of both singles and family units, including 20% barrier free units. The project was completed in 2024.
