Pickleball

As of July 15, signage will be installed to provide a drop-in style format of court reservation.

Hours of Operation: 8 am to 10 pm daily

There are select weekly court rental opportunities available at the Confederation Park outdoor pickleball courts during the 2023 season.

Each rental will include 6 courts for 2 hours for a 6-week session at $29.88 + HST per hour.

Bookings are available during the 6:30 to 7:30 pm & 7:40 to 8:40 pm timeslots on these days:

• Tuesday, July 4
• Thursday, July 6
• Tuesday, August 22
• Thursday, August 24

• Allocation of requests will be randomly selected via lottery method on May 24, 2023
• Limit of 1 sessional booking per group, per season
• Must be a resident of City of Hamilton

Planning a Pickleball tournament? Confederation Park outdoor pickleball courts are available for reservation on these weekends:

• July 8 & 9
• July 22 & 23
• August 26 & 27
• September 9 & 10
• September 23 & 24

Will there be any equipment provided?
Nets are provided, participants will need to bring their own paddles and balls for gameplay.

How much is it to play?
There is no fee for the daily one-hour booking, additional fees are required for weekly or tournament rentals.

How will we know if there is a rental or tournament booked?
Tournament dates will be posted on www.hamilton.ca/pickleball 

How many courts can be reserved for a weekly rental?
Weekly rentals are for 6 courts only, remaining courts will be available for daily bookings

What happens if weekly rentals or tournament dates are not booked?
Any proposed tournament dates that were not booked will be released for typical daily public use.

What happens if there is inclement weather?
Playability of courts will be at discretion of on-site Parks staff.

When will the daily online reservation system end?
As of July 15, the daily online reservation system will be removed. Signage will be placed within the complex to help provide players of the operating standard at Confederation Park. Signs displaying a 60-minute time limit with a paddle rotating system on the North courts #1,2,3,4,5 & 6 and South courts #7,8,9,10,11 & 12 will be available.
