The Information Sessions & Open Houses event offers an opportunity to explore the serene grounds, learn about burial and cremation options, and gain insight into pre-planning arrangements.
These welcoming sessions offer an opportunity for families and individuals to explore the full range of interment and memorial options, including traditional burial, natural burial, cremation, and scattering. Attendees can meet with knowledgeable staff, ask questions in a comfortable setting, and gain a clear understanding of available choices and pre-planning options.
Planning Ahead & Being Prepared Seminars
These informative seminars – Lunch & Learn - Dinner & Discussion - are offered to provide information regarding planning ahead and end-of-life decision options. The seminars will offer lunch/dinner and in-person discussion opportunities focusing on various services that Hamilton Municipal Cemeteries provide and include other speakers and partners to assist with end-of-life decisions

Legacy -ICED Binder Workshop
Our ability to offer assistance with the end-of-life decision making is important. These workshops will encourage discussion, provide resources such as Legacy -ICED Binders (In Case of Emergency or Death) and have us become an official partner with the Talk of a Lifetime program.
The Legacy – ICED Binder Workshop is a hands-on and interactive event designed to guide individuals in creating a comprehensive and organized document repository known as a "Legacy Binder". This workshop aims to empower participants to compile essential information, documents, and instructions in a centralized location, facilitating seamless communication and decision-making for themselves and their loved ones in the future.
