Emergency Dental Services

Public Health Services Dental Health Program is continuing to provide Emergency Dental Services to low-income residents of the city of Hamilton with no other form of dental insurance or dental program coverage. Appointments are offered as walk-in same day Emergency Dental Service visits.

Closure Notice: Mountain Dental Clinic will be closed from October 20 to November 20, 2026. For the duration of the closure, Adult Emergencies have temporarily relocated to Robert Thomson Building 110 King Street West, 3rd Floor  (with the exception of the last Wednesday of the month).

Note: The locations are fragrance / scent free environments

• Mountain Dental Clinic (Unit 106 A-891 Upper James Street, Hamilton): 
  • Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY
• Downtown Dental Clinic (3rd Floor Jackson Square-110 King Street West, Hamilton): 
  • Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays ONLY
• Seniors Bus Dominic Agostino Riverdale Community Centre site (150 Violet Drive, Hamilton):
  • The last Wednesday of each month
