Powell Park

Powell park is a 1.1 hectare (2.7 Acre) neighbourhood park located at 53 Birch Ave in Hamilton, Ontario, within Ward 3. Existing features include asphalt pathways, play equipment, a sun shelter, basketball court, spray pad, wading pool, community garden and community building. 

Due to the aging condition of many park amenities, the City of Hamilton is planning a redevelopment of the park space.

As part of the redevelopment process, a public consultation program will be undertaken to gather community input. Residents will have the opportunity to share their preferences for the park's future design, including the theme of the playground and spray pad, as well as desired playground and spray pad features.

Feedback collected during the initial consultation process will be used to develop concept design options. Residents will then be invited to review the proposed concept designs, provide additional feedback, and vote on their preferred design for the renewed park.
