Route 16 Ancaster will detour due to the road closure on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 9 am to 3 pm for the Ancaster Dared-to-Tri Triathlon & Duathlon.

Route 16 Ancaster Eastbound bus will detour from 9 am to 12 pm on Jerseyville Rd from Shaver Rd. to Meadowbrook Dr.

Route 16 Ancaster Westbound bus will detour from 12 pm to 3pm on Meadowbrook Dr. from Jerseyville Rd. to Morwick Dr.

• JERSEYVILLE at MARTIN
• JERSEYVILLE opposite STEVENSON
• JERSEYVILLE opposite SHAVER
• SHAVER opposite MORWICK

Temporary stop for Route 16 Ancaster available as requested.

Routes 23 Upper Gage and 24 Upper Sherman will detour due to the road closure on Concession Street. This road closure is on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 4 am to 10 pm for the Concession Streetfest.

Detour details:

Route 23 Upper Gage and Route 24 Upper Sherman detour:

• Southbound buses from Concession St. at Upper Wentworth St.; right on Upper Wentworth St., left on Queensdale Ave., left on East 25th St., right on Concession St. and resume regular routing on Concession St. east of East 25th St.
• Northbound buses from Concession St. at East 26th St.; left on East 26th St., right on Queensdale Ave., right on Upper Wentworth St., left on Concession St. and resume regular routing on Concession St. west of Upper Wentworth St.

Routes 23 Upper Gage and 24 Upper Sherman Northbound

• Concession at Hamilton
• Concession at Summit

Route 23 Upper Gage and 24 Upper Sherman Southbound

There will be a road closure on Saturday, May 10, from approximately 6:30 am to 11:30 pm on Ottawa St – Barton St to Main St for the Sew Hungry event. Route 41 in both directions will be on detour. Detour details, closed stops and a detour map, can be found below.

Detour Details:

Route 41 Mohawk (Ottawa Trips)

• Eastbound to Industrial at Depew: From Ottawa Street at Main Street, buses will turn right on Main Street, left on Kenilworth Avenue, left on Barton Street, then right on Ottawa Street. Regular routing will resume on Ottawa Street north of Barton Street.
• Westbound to the Mountain: From Ottawa Street at Barton Street, buses will turn left on Barton Street, right on Kenilworth Avenue, right on Main Street, then left on Ottawa Street. Regular routing will resume on Ottawa Street south of Main Street.

Due to construction on Garner Road, between Fiddlers Green Road and Panabaker Drive, Route 44 Rymal will be on detour eastbound only from April 9 until approximately June 27, 2025.

WESTBOUND (To Tradewind & Cormorant)

EASTBOUND (To Eastgate Square)

From Garner Rd. and Hamilton Dr.:

• Left on Hamilton Dr.
• Left on Wilson St.
• Right on Amberley Blvd.
• Right on Fiddlers Green Rd.
• Left on Book Rd.
• Left on Glancaster Rd.
• Right on Garner Rd.
• Resume regular eastbound routing.
• Stop Closures - Route 44 Rymal (Eastbound Only)
  All stops between Hamilton Dr. and Glancaster Rd. will be out of service during the detour.
• An afternoon shuttle service at Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School has been added during the construction period to ensure continued service for students and passengers in the area. This route is subject to change during construction.
