Detour of Route 11 - Parkdale for Sound of Music Parade
Route 11 PARKDALE will be on detour Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm due to road closure on James Street; John Street to Elizabeth Street for Sound of Music Parade.
Detour Details:
Route 11 Parkdale detour:
- Southbound – from the Burlington Transit Terminal; right on parking lot alley, right on Elizabeth St. and resume regular routing.

Detour of Routes 16 - Ancaster for Dared-to-Tri Event
Route 16 Ancaster will detour due to the road closure on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 9 am to 3 pm for the Ancaster Dared-to-Tri Triathlon & Duathlon.
Route 16 Ancaster Eastbound bus will detour from 9 am to 12 pm on Jerseyville Rd from Shaver Rd. to Meadowbrook Dr.

Road Closure: Wilson Street; Rousseaux Street to Orchard Drive
Route 16 Ancaster will detour due to the road closure on Wilson Street; Rousseaux Street to Orchard Drive. This road closure is on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm for the Ancaster Heritage.
Detour Details:
Route 16 Ancaster Detour: From 9 am to 12 noon
- Westbound – Trips departing Meadowlands from 9 to 11 am: From Golflinks Rd. and McNiven/Southcote Rd.; left on Southcote Rd., right on Garner Rd., right on Fiddler’s Green Rd., left on Amberly Blvd, left on Wilson St. and resume regular routing.
- Eastbound – Trips departing Garner/Wilson from 9:25 am to 11:25 am: From Anson Dr. and Garner Rd.; right on Garner Rd., left on Fiddlers Green Rd., left on Book Rd., left on Southcote Rd., right on Golflinks Rd. and resume regular routing.
From 12 noon to 1 pm
- Westbound – Trips departing Meadowlands from 12 noon to 1 pm: From Golflinks Rd. and McNiven Rd./Southcote Rd.; left on Southcote Rd., right on Garner Rd., right on Fiddlers Green Rd. and resume regular routing.

- Southbound buses from Concession St. at Upper Wentworth St.; right on Upper Wentworth St., left on Queensdale Ave., left on East 25th St., right on Concession St. and resume regular routing on Concession St. east of East 25th St.
- Northbound buses from Concession St. at East 26th St.; left on East 26th St., right on Queensdale Ave., right on Upper Wentworth St., left on Concession St. and resume regular routing on Concession St. west of Upper Wentworth St.
