2026 Tax Budget Public Delegation
As part of the City's opportunities for 2026 Budget Public Engagement, the City has set up a special meeting where residents can request to delegate at the Special (Budget) General Issues Committee.
Members of the public who are interested in appearing before Committee on January 19, 2026; either virtually, in-person or by video submission, are required to submit a “Request to Speak before a Committee of Council” form.
Deadlines
Requests to appear virtually or in person as well as written submissions will be accepted up to 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 16, 2026 for the January 19, 2026 meeting. Delegates will be heard in the order that they are received.
Video submissions must be received no later than 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 15, 2026 for inclusion on the January 19, 2026 agenda.
Delegates will be limited to presentation time of 5 minutes.
