Starting Sunday, August 31, 2025, we’re making it easier to get where you need to go — with more buses, more often. These changes will make a real difference for communities across Hamilton.

Bus Stop Changes
Effective August 31, 2025, these bus stop changes will be in effect. Watch for signs posted at the affected stops.
Route 33 Sanatorium
Changes from Sanatorium Road to Scenic Drive, in both directions.

New stop (northbound)
- Scenic at San Paulo Walkway
- Scenic at San Pedro

Route 43 Stone Church
Stop on Stone Church at Chesley is moving to the Southwest Corner

Various routes will be detoured on Sunday, November 9 & Tuesday, November 11, 2025 for Remembrance Day services.
Routes 1 to 10, 20 to 27, 33, 35 & 51

Downtown Hamilton - King Street from John Street to James Street and James Street from King Street to Robert Street.

Downtown Hamilton - King Street from from Catharine Street to James Street.
Routes 5 - Delaware

Route 18 - Waterdown Mountaineer
Fixed-route service that connects Waterdown to Aldershot GO Station and Burlington Transit at Plains Road. Route 18 will operate at a 30-minute frequency.

Detour of Route 18 - Waterdown for Lot Access Agreement
Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will detour as it travels to and from the Flamborough South Centre, August 31 until further notice.
Northbound to Flamborough South Centre: When travelling to Walmart, the bus will continue on Clappison Avenue, turning right on Dundas Street East, left on Leavitt Boulevard, left into Flamborough South Centre, right on the first internal road, proceed around Staples, and stop at stop #1879 at Walmart.
Southbound to Aldershot GO: From stop #1879 at Walmart, the bus will turn left at from the stop, right on the first internal road, left on the next internal road, right on Leavitt Boulevard, right on Dundas Street East, and left on Clappison Avenue where it will continue regular route.
Transit staff and property manager are working on an access agreement to allow HSR bus travel through the lot.

Detour of Route 18 - Waterdown Mountaineer for Waterdown Remembrance Day Ceremony
As a result of the Hamilton Remembrance Day Ceremony road closure on Hamilton Street from John Street to Cedar Street, there is a detour on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Northbound
- From Dundas Street and Main Street
- turn right onto Main Street
- left onto Parkside Drive and resume regular routing
Southbound
- From Parkside Drive and Hamilton Street
- continue on Parkside Drive
- turn right onto Main Street
- left onto Dundas Street, and resume regular routing
