Starting Sunday, August 31, 2025, we’re making it easier to get where you need to go — with more buses, more often. These changes will make a real difference for communities across Hamilton.

Bus Stop Changes
Effective August 31, 2025, these bus stop changes will be in effect. Watch for signs posted at the affected stops.
Route 33 Sanatorium
Changes from Sanatorium Road to Scenic Drive, in both directions.
Stops out-of-service (northbound)
- Sanatorium at Scenic West
- Sanatorium at Scenic East
New stop (northbound)
- Scenic at San Paulo Walkway
- Scenic at San Pedro
- Sanatorium at Redfern
Stops out-of-service (southbound)
- Sanatorium at Scenic West
New stop (southbound)
- Scenic opposite San Paulo Walkway
Route 43 Stone Church
Stop on Stone Church at Chesley is moving to the Southwest Corner
Watch for signs posted at the affected stops.

Route 1 - King (Christmas Day)
Services lower Hamilton east - west from Hamilton GO in the west to Eastgate Square in the east. The KING 1A route also services University Plaza to Hamilton GO.

Route 2 - Barton (Christmas Day)
An east - west route that stretches from downtown Hamilton in the west to Stoney Creek in the east. Stoney Creek Trans-Cab Service operates Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays as an extension of Route 2 when in service.

Route 3 - Cannon (Christmas Day)
An east-west route that travels from downtown Hamilton in the west to just past Parkdale Ave. in the east.

Route 4 - Bayfront (Christmas Day)
Both an east-west and a north-south route servicing the north end of the city from downtown to the Greenhill area near Red Hill Valley.

Serves east - west lower Hamilton including Dundas, Ancaster and Stoney Creek.

Route 6 - Aberdeen (Christmas Day)
Both an east-west and a north-south route servicing the south-west end of the city from then downtown. This route is interlined with 7 Locke and 8 York.

Route 7 - Locke (Christmas Day)
Both an east-west and a north-south route servicing the south-west end of the city from then downtown. This route is interlined with 6 Aberdeen and 8 York.

Route 8 - York (Christmas Day)
Both an east-west and a north-south route servicing the south-west end of the city from then downtown. This route is interlined with 6 Aberdeen and 7 Locke.

Route 10 - B Line Express (Christmas Day)
An east-west route traveling from University Plaza in the west end to Eastgate Square in the east end. This route is interlined with 55 Stoney Creek Central and 58 Stoney Creek Local.

Route 11 - Parkdale (Christmas Day)
Travels the furthest north of all HSR routes, looping at the Burlington Bus Terminal. This route also travels along an expressway.

Route 16 - Ancaster (Christmas Day)
Travels between Meadowlands Transit Terminal and the shopping complex at Wilson and Garner. This route is interlined with 43 - Stone Church.

Route 18 - Waterdown Mountaineer (Christmas Day)
Fixed-route service that connects Waterdown to Aldershot GO Station and Burlington Transit at Plains Road.

The A-Line Express is a north-south express route that travels from downtown Hamilton to the Hamilton International Airport.

Route 21 - Upper Kenilworth (Christmas Day)
North-south route that travels from the MacNab Terminal Platform #7 to Upper Mount Albion and Stone Church. This route has extended to Upper Mount Albion and Stone Church. The bus loop at Limeridge and Mountain Brow is no longer serviced.

Travels from the Terminal Platform #1 to Upper Ottawa and Rymal Road.

Travels from the Terminal Platform #2 to Upper Gage and Rymal Road. This route is interlined with Route 24 - Upper Sherman at the end of the line for most trips.

Route travels north - south from the MacNab Terminal Platform #5 to the Mountain Transit Centre in Glanbrook. This route is interlined with Route 35 - College. Glanbrook Trans-Cab service operates Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays as an extension of Route 27 when in service.
Park N' Ride: HSR Mountain Transit Centre on Upper James, with platforms for Route 20 - A Line & Route 27 - Upper James.
