Placemaking Event Programming
The City of Hamilton is proud to support a number of placemaking projects and events that will animate outdoor public spaces. The arts programming presented aligns with the 2021-2025 Economic Development Action Plan priority to revitalize priority areas through placemaking.
Soundtrack of the City lunch time concert series
Thursdays – Aug 21, Aug 28, Sept 4 and Sept 11 from 12pm - 2pm

Presented by the Tune In Foundation x City of Hamilton, this free lunchtime concert features local musicians at Ferguson Station. Launched on August 21, each week of live music is themed. Pull up, catch the flows, and be part of Hamilton’s soundtrack.

Open Streets - Village Pride

Join the International Village BIA for Village Pride: Kick-Off to Halloween for Open Streets Hamilton on Sunday, September 28th at Ferguson Station. The International Village BIA is joining forces with House of Adam and Steve in partnership with the City of Hamilton. Ferguson Station will be bustling with a Queer Marker's Market and a spectacular Drag Show throughout the day. Performance schedule to be announced.

Strange Streak - A string of Strangewaves concerts featuring a mix of local and international artists, as well as engagingly interactive community events.

Strangewaves uses its deep connections in the innovative arts scene of Canada to curate a one-of-a-kind experience at Ferguson Station, featuring a mix of local and artists from across the country ranging from Jazz to Dance music. The Full Noon Fest
Wednesdays - Oct 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 12pm - 2pm

The Full Noon Fest show series will showcase emerging independent musicians from the GTHA. Featuring lunch-hour sets from artists working in contemporary folk, atmospheric pop and alternative rock, Ferguson Station will play host to an eclectic, family-friendly mix of music talent from 12 pm to 2 pm on the first four Wednesdays of October.
