Hamilton Children’s Museum Grand Re-opening Event

The Hamilton Children’s Museum is celebrating its Grand Reopening!

Come and celebrate with us in the museum’s brand-new, expanded building.  
 

The Hamilton Children’s Museum has been providing family-friendly learning opportunities from an 1875 farmhouse in Gage Park since 1979. The need for improved accessibility and more programming space led to the expansion of the original building.  Come and explore the new exhibits, participate in hands on activities and enjoy!

All visitors will be offered 45-minute time slots starting at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on January 10, 2026, and tickets must be pre-booked.  

Please note that on January 10, 2026 the museum parking lot will only be available for drop-offs and to visitors who require accessible parking spaces. For public transportation and alternative parking options, visit hamilton.ca/hsr and hamilton.ca/parking.

Additional parking is available on-site, entrance located on Lawrence Road.
