Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre Courts Renewal

The City is planning to do a life-cycle replacement of the courts at Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre, located at 145 Magnolia Drive (Ward 14) in Hamilton’s Fessenden neighbourhood. 

Currently there exists 2 tennis courts, a practice wall, a basketball court and an open asphalt area. We have an opportunity to reimagine the layout of the courts within the existing footprint.

On Thursday, November 27, 2025 the City of Hamilton will be holding an engagement event at Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre where the community is encouraged to provide comments and vote on the new layout of the courts.
